Kaze hatched somewhere in the Reedcleft Ascent. He was all alone. Only the wind whispered around his nozzle. He didn't know what he was doing on this world. He was hungry and he felt, that someone had to be there to care for him. But there wasn't.
But there was wind. He felt it and he loved it. Kaze started to walk araund, thinking, that walking was unusual, slow and stupit. He was hungry. He imidiatly knew, that he could eat the Insekts fighting against the rush breeze. But they where always a little faster, than him. The hunger bit Kazes stomach. He observed how the Insects where chought by the wind. Thrown araound, tossed and got away from their path.
The same wind, touching is noze stroke his wings. He started to watch where the wind took the insects. Feld the wind on his scales. And the wind told him where the Insects would go. He fixed the point in midair and then he stroke. He got his first prey. And it was a present from the wind.
From this first day on Kaze learnd to read the wind. He talked to him. He was his only fellow on his jurny to nowhere through the Reedcleft Ascent. He had no destination. He only wanted to feel the wind.
Sometimes Kaze opend his wings and felt the wind rushing underneath them.
His instincts told him he was ment to fly....

Flying with the flock

One day a flock of gale wolves appeard around Kaze, while he was sleeping. They sniffed on him an tickled him with thair cold noses and Kaze was happy to meet someone for the first time, who didn't flew from him by first seeing.
He never knew why the flock adopted him, but they did. From now on Kaze few with the gale wolves. They tought him to hunt, to hide and to scent. Kaze learnd the language of the wind and to float unseen in midair, using the wind as a part of himself.

One day the flock run into a group of dragons, trained by a Dragonmaster. Kaze was hidden in the gras with the jungest cup and had to see the dragons fighting his family. The flock lost, but the Dragons, nir the Dragonmaster found Kaze or the leftover cup.
Feeling all alone again Kaze decided to leave the wind territory. The cup in his claws he confide in the wind and flew away.
For al long time sky was his oly home. He didn't landet for months, hunting birds for him and his only fellow, who was sitting on his back. His ability to be unseen in midair made it possible for him to stay away from other dragons and catching prey whenever he wanted.
He was never tired of flying. He didn't need to sleep. The trust in the wind was all of his life.
But then, the gale wolf become sick. Kaze had to land. He had to find something to save him. Touching land for the first time after more than four months, he found himself in the Shattered Plain- But he didn't knew anything about the wolrd. He didn't knew how to help his only friend. His only chance was to ask other dragons.
Auruun was the first he saw. He seemed calm and not so agressive to Kaze, than most dragons he saw before. Auruun used to be in the Shattered Plain, when he wanted to be alone. But when he saw Kaze and the sick gale wolf, he instantly wanted to help him. He brought Kaze to his lair, so his Dragonmaster could care for the gale wolf.
Kaze was very suspiciously, but he saw, the Dragonmaster was the only chance for his friend. He stayed at the lair, waiting for his recovery, but keeping away from the other dragons. Auruun was the only one who tried to talk to him. And even as Kaze wouldn't admit it back then, he enjoyed it to listen to Auruns storys.
Finally the gale wolf recovered. But I didn't wanted Kaze to go away. But I also didn't want to force him stay. Kaze had nothing to see foreward in his life. I offered him a new family. But I think it was Auruun, who finally convinced him. They are still very good friends.

From the beginning I knew Kaze was a strange Spiral. He is much more calm and thoughtfull than other Spirals. He is silent and most of the time almost invisible. Only a few days after he decidet to stay, he wanted to learn how to fight.
I trained him hardly with my Warrior Skan and my Elder Paladin. He never complained. He only wanted to get better. But he never really befriendet with my other dragons. Auruun and his gale wolf, named Szanner, seem to be his only real friends.
