Fahr
Warrior
Lone Wanderer

No memory

Fahr can't remember his hatch, or his early times, when he was still a hatchling. He thinks it must have been somewhere in a wood, or maybe between rocks. He only knows it was cold in the beginning.
Sometimes he dreams of landscapes he never has been to but seem familiar to him. Pictures appear in his had he can't explain. Mostly he thinks those picutres are just part of the experiments he was involved in, but when it happens, that he sees something for real, what was only in his had before, he starts to belive that have must something to do with his erased childhood.

Basicly he was raised by an old imperial who only told him, he found him wandering cunfused somewhere in the dirt. But he wasn't very young anymore, when his old master found him.
The old Imp was an alchimist, living far away from every clan territory making his experiments with familiars, trinkets and other stuff.
After he found Fahr, he started to make experiments even with him. Now he blames his old master for his lost of memory.

Master

He never had a name. "Call me master", he told Fahr. And he always calld Fahr just "the otherone".
"Come here, otherone! I've got something for ye", he yelled every time, when a new boiler of "stuff" was ready for Fahr to taste it.
The master mainly seemed to test if Fahr reacted on this stuff in an other way then diffrent Familiars the master was holding in little old cages in his room, the biggest part of the cave. Form most of this stuff Fahr only got sick. But sometimes it did more. It made him going crazy, made his eyes glow and his spit caustic.
At least the master told him so, after he 'woke up' from a rage some stuff had caused him into. The master was always exited and overwhelmed by joy, when he tested something new and as Fahr didn't know anything else, he always just wanted to make him that happy.
But the more stuff he tested the more Fahr felt bad. He noticed the stuff made something with his body. Something, that didn't go away when a rage subsided.

One day, he was outside the cave to get some new firewood for his masters boiler, as he saw his reflection in a puddle between the rocks. His horns had changed color. They weren't black anymore. They've become bleached. And what was there in his face? Where some of his scales failed? There was a lighter spot there too.

The Manticore

Somehow the master must have noticed, that it wasn't Fahrs only joy anymore to make him happy. He saw, that Fahr didn't wanted those experiments anymore. And he was worried. He let him alone a bit more and started to make his experiments only with his familiars again. He let Fahr watch but was disapointed, when he didn't show the same pleasure, as himself.

He took Fahr on his raids, when he kidnapped more familiars. Fahr turned out to be very good at hunting them down. One day the master cought a manticore. Fahr was impressed by this stunning creature. It was huge and his wings and his flight was so impressive. Fahr couldn't fly like that. He never had the chance to train flying.
But he had to see how his master chained this creature on the wall in his cave, set his giant wings and infuse him his stuff.
That was the day, when Fahr started to hate his master. He didn't wanted to be his testing object anymore. But the master just went on with his experiments.
Two nights later Fahr got up, when the master was still aslep. He sneekt in the back of the hole. He wanted to free the manticore, before he ran away. The color of the manticores fur already fadet. But when the chains strumed, the old Imp woke up and saw what Fahr was up to. He shouted at him. Things like "Do you honor my generosity like this?!" Things Fahr didnÄt really understood, or even heard, as the master grapt his neck and pushed him to the ground. He fouht back as good as he could, but he couldn't really move. The master graped some chains from the floor and wraped tham around Fahrs neck. Then he fainted.

This is what freedon is like?

When Fahr woke up he was traped at the wall of the cave, next to the manticore and other cages, filled with upset creatures...
