Damasen the ornithologist One of the greek giants, children of Gaia and Tartarus, who were made to be opposites of each of the greek gods so that they may kill them. However, being designed to be the anathema of the Ares, the god of war, he became very gentle and peaceable, and killed a draken that was terrorizing a group mortals he had befriended. As punishment for his kindness his parents cast him into Tartarus and cursed to kill that same serpent daily. In the context of Sorneith Damasen may mean "to sudue", the original origin of the name, or else "gentle giant" in reference to the myth.

Bitten by an onyx cobra as a hatchling, the poor dragon, and generally uneasy around snakes

-lets hatchlings climb all over him and happy to lend his wings as shelter for dragons unused to the Plateaus

-gembond limits movements and makes flying rather difficult (he can, but mostly he glides and will wait for strong updrafts to help him); tends to move rather slowly
-very relaxed and patient, possibly in response to his condition

-fond of birds and actively studies Sorneith’s species; will sit statuesque to view most, but the occasional bold couple finds him to be a very safe nesting site

-not sure on charge yet- possibly birds in general (he certainly loves birds), possibly a specific object I haven't decided on
