Rock Solid

Sharing his mate’s love for crafting, Kaolin uses his skills to craft complex figurines, capturing the essence of his inspiration in his namesake clay and creating delicate, porcelain like creations. Fragile, they are then painted with exquisite colors until they dazzle all that look upon them.

Unlike what one would expect of such a gigantic dragon, the imperial has quite deft claws, and molds effortlessly. Granted, he had to make some adjustments to his technique, as his peers in craft are often agile little faes or dexterous pearlcatchers, used to more delicate work and with a body more suited to it.

Although she prefers the natural colors of the earth, sometimes Gaia gives in and allows him to paint her creations. Those are his favorite jobs, as he feels the finished vases capture the essence of them both.
Working together to create something is both a source of pride and joy for the couple, and since their arrival more and more dens within the clan have started displaying colorful arrangements of ceramic and decorations provided by the duo. Even though their craftsmanship is highly valued and a great asset during trades and negotiations, their creations are freely given to their clanmates and friends, as tokens of their friendship.

Maybe because of their open and friendly manners, they are thought of fondly by their peers, and the bowels of the mountain are said to be a warm and welcoming place, and not only because of the fire that burns nonstop.
