The wind was heavy, the air thick. His parents were battling against the beastclan. Both had been cast out of their perspective clans for falling in love with each other. One of the Wind flight, the other of water. Their colors clashed and so none of the children produced, hatched with colors well liked.

Due to this, other clans shunned the family, leaving them to be where they are now. A heated battle against very strong opponents. A battle that could not be won. Iryse called out to her hatchlings, "Run my little ones, RUN!" as her mate was struck down. The young Speckled Crimson colored Imperial dragon did as he was told and ran. He never looked back to see if his siblings followed. The young one ran as far as he could until he could go no further and collapsed.

When he awoke, he was in a building of some sort. From the looks of it, the building was underground. Around him were other dragons, a Spiral, two guardians, a Mirror and from the sound of it there were others in the structure. The Mirror approached him.

"Little Imperial, we found you unconscious not far from our home here. Can you tell Oniko what has happened to you?" Tears ran down his face as he bellowed his story. Light green eyes, watery, watched as the other dragons whispered among themselves before nodding to the Mirror. "Terrible that has happened. You may stay with us for as long as you like. You are now under Oniko's protection, Welcome to the Demons Den!"

Years later, his first mate Kaminari had passed on. Poisons from Plague Beasts had fatally wounded her. He mourned her loss for months before finding a new love. A Nocturne, Blood and Crimson colors, Speckles and Freckles like himself. Their first nest together produced young hatchlings, similar in color to their parents. They all had been sold to other clans, in hopes for a happy life. Some were sent to serve a Deity, others had passed on. 3 of them survived in their new home.

One of their young, brought so much happiness to her new home that the clan had sent 3 sacred scrolls back to the Demons Den as thanks. A gift for her honorable father as thanks for creating such a joyous spirit. Those scrolls transformed his Speckle and Freckle genes into a beautiful Crystal and Facet. The third gene gave him spines, which now show a third color of storm. He looked like a dragon carved out of Ruby, with Storm colored stones for spikes.
