Children of Ylva and Fenrir are undoubtedly touched by the shade, despite their parent’s efforts to hide them from it. Children born with Fenrir’s protruding spines are under the shade’s control, and their parents work quickly to find something to bind them and keep the shade subdued. Children born with Ylva’s runes are in control of the shade within them, and while they do quickly strike out on their own, they are able to fend for themselves and live a relatively normal life.

Main Theme: Coldplay - Clocks

______ Irsa is the second born child of Fenrir and Ylva. Her parents worked quickly to create an object to bind the shade within her, and came up with a delicate looking bracelet. As long as the bracelet stays on her, Irsa is free of the shade’s control, though she can still feel it's influences. Despite the nature of her existence Irsa is a gentle and quiet dragon, were it not for her spines or the fact that sometimes her form flickers into that of her familiar’s, you’d think she were a normal dragon. Irsa was raised to be conscious of the decisions she was making, and to watch out for outside influence on her actions, which made her act mature at a young age.

______ She was found one night by Nyx and Echo and was taken back to the clan and although she is mostly isolated because she fears others will find out about the Shade, Nyx and Echo have stayed as her mentors. They encourged her to be curious and look for the truth in things and its not surprising she decided to become an alchemist. She is dedicated to find a cure for the Shadetouched to make her family proud.
