Children born with Fenrir’s protruding spines are under the shade’s control, and their parents work quickly to find something to bind them and keep the shade subdued. Children born with Ylva’s runes are in control of the shade within them, and while they do quickly strike out on their own, they are able to fend for themselves and live a relatively normal life.

Main Theme: Dodie - Would you be so kind

______ Conan is the sixth born child of Ylva and Fenrir, and the youngest of their second clutch. When he hatched his parents first noticed his shimmering runes, and then his bright kind eyes. Conan has always been trusting, and a hopeless romantic. He is quite prone to falling in love with dragons who don't get a chance to notice him. His interests have always been broad and vague, but eventually as he matured he decided to pursue his interest in flowers. However, Conan has also decided to keep up with his physical abilities, and has become a skilled fighter who’s a force to be reckoned with.
