Meadowsweet was one of the first members of the nascent Star Clan, but having lived all his life in the Starfall Isles, he was also eager to see more of Sornieth. He stayed with the Clan as long as he could, but eventually his need to travel and meet other dragons drew him to say goodbye. He left with a heavy heart but bright wings, determined to learn what he could of the world and expand his horizons, literally and figuratively.

After years of travel, he came to realize that he missed the Clan. He loved the places he had gone and the dragons he had met, but more and more, when he thought of home, he thought of the flurry of Fae and scarce smattering of larger dragons that made up the Star Clan. But he was afraid. He had told them goodbye, and while they had parted on good terms, he wondered if the Clan would have him back. Had he hurt too many feelings by departing? And what of his lust for adventure and meeting new dragons and beasts? Would he return home only to feel stifled again?

At length, he did the only thing he could do. He flew back to the Starfall Isles and searched for his Clan, now nestled beneath the Observatory in the fragrant and colorful Fae Fields. He approached the lair cave with hesitation and told the young dragons in the meadow who he was, and why he was there. Nervously, he asked to speak to Acacia and waited for one of the young Fae to fetch her.

He needn't have worried. In moments, Acacia came flitting out, overjoyed to welcome Meadowsweet home! He was embraced as if he had never left, and to be sure he got his fill of travel and experiences, the Star Clan's council declared him the clan's first ambassador.

As the Star Clan's ambassador, Meadowsweet establishes treaties and alliances with other dragon clans. He is fluent in the Beastclan languages (with help from his tiny faerie companions, who also coach him in inflection) and has even persuaded them to ally with the Fae Fields, allowing both dragon and beast to meet in the Coliseum to hone their battle skills in friendly competition for the day when they might be needed...of course, everyone hopes that day will not come. But if it does, the Fae Fields and the Beastclans alike will be well-protected!

Meadowsweet is a voluntary ambassador of the Arcanist. If there is any reason to mediate with other clans, whether dragon or beast, this Fae is at the front lines. He is fluent in the Centaur and Talonok languages, and can communicate passably with Longneck and Serthis. He has some difficulty understanding Coatl who are less than fluent in common draconian. Unable to grasp tonal inflection, he instead dictates his intended tone before speaking.

His Ethereal Entourage was a gift from Santa Claws! He wrote asking for some advice on how to be a better ambassador, and received the group of faeries to act as interpreters. They have tried their best to teach him to understand the inflections other dragons use, but he seems to have a bit of a tin ear. Here is his reaction to the gift. (Thank you so much, BatCrooks!)
