Luminescence

A damp, dark cave rests under the Sea of a Thousand Currents... It was completely pitch black, the only light source coming from the Nocturne climbing out of the water, and into the cave.

Her bright rune markings lit up the cave walls as she walked deeper into the cavern, Luminescence's oracle powers had led her to this cave, but she couldn't figure out why, so she decided to explore it, and see what awaited her..

Luminescence had been walking for what seemed like hours, when she saw light ahead, she sped up her pace until she reached the source of the light.

It was a chamber filled with crystals growing all over the cave walls, their bright glow matched her runes perfectly..

Luminescence stared at the crystals in wonder, when she heard a sound coming from behind a rather large crystal sticking out of the ground..

She creped closer to the sound, and peeked behind the crystal, only to find a light blue male Fae Dragon collecting crystals. The Fae squeaked in surprise upon seeing Luminescence, "Oh, it's only another Dragon! For a minute I thought the crystals were coming to life, those are the brightest runes I've ever seen! If you don't mind me saying", said the Fae, calming down.

"I don't, and thank you, I'm actually quite proud of them! Sorry I startled you earlier..", replied the Nocturne.

"That's alright, my name's Quiso", informed the Fae.

"I'm Luminescence", the Nocturne greeted back.

"You must have come through the back entrance, a lot of other Dragons wouldn't have been able to navigate the darkness",Quiso thought for a moment, "come to think of it, how did you discover the cave in the first place? It's not easy to find, it's only really known to members of our clan".

"I had a vision that led me here", explained Luminescence.

"Oh, your an oracle!", said Quiso.

"Yes, though my vision didn't show me these crystals.. Exactly what does your clan use them for?", she asked.

"Well, a lot of other clans might think it's silly, but we're using them to make the waters hang in the sky.. Not the whole sea, mind you, just some of it. Like.. Water tunnels, they would connect to each other", explained the Fae.

"Oh, why that doesn't sound silly at all! It actually sounds interesting.." remarked the Nocturne.

"Glad you think so! It was in a vision my Mother had, she's an oracle, too, and the leader of our clan. That's why we are called the Clan of the Hanging Waters", Quiso stated proudly.

"Well, I hope your clan succeeds", said Luminescence.

"Thank you! You know.. Despite being a water clan, we don't have many oracles.. Do you think you would be interested in joining our clan?", questioned the Fae.

Luminescence thought about this, she had no idea why her vision led her to this cave.. Could it be that her vision had led her to her new home? She was looking for a change of pace..
