Once upon a time, Phyress was a great warrior. With his help, his clan was a prosperous and victorious in battles near and far. He had a wonderful life. He was loved by all and went down in history as one of the greatest leaders of all time. Sadly, not all battles can end in victory. A terrible frost soon overtook his homelands. A mass exodus was ordered to save its people. Phyress, ever watchful and protective of his home, stayed back to make sure his loved ones got away safely. In his care of others, he neglected his own health... He froze to death in the harsh tundra that was once his home.

His story was far from over. Thousands of years after his tragic passing, an evil force surfaced. She called herself the Raven Queen. Needing allies for her dark plottings, the enchantress sought out the site where Phyress perished. She brought him back to life on the condition that he would be bound to her for eternity. Now he finds himself thrown into a strange time where he knows next to nothing; His battle strategies are ancient, his loved ones are long gone, and even his language has ceased to exist. He is alone and, though he refuses to admit it, he is afraid. The Raven Queen's plan to destroy the world terrifies him, even though he has no ties to it anymore. He desperately wishes to be free from her tyranny, but not all stories have a happy ending.
