Lore -

Stigma has always been a caring dragon, even from a young age. He would try to heal injured birds or other animals, and was always concerned for his clanmates. Now, Stigma is a medic and serves his clan well. He is a kind and caring dragon, and always puts other dragons’ well beings before his own. Even so, he is stern in his diagnoses and treatments, and puts up with no one’s excuses. He wants to see his patients healed and happy. His knowledge of herbs and elixirs seems endless, and he always makes sure that his stores are stocked. Stigma is very meticulous in his work, and will take nothing less than perfection.

Before he joined the Exsilium, Stigma was a traveling healer. He would go to very, very dangerous terrains to help rescue and heal family and friends that dragons were looking for. It was on one of these excursions that he ran into a Beastclan member holding a dragon hostage. While he isn't a fighter, Stigma managed to hold it off and rescue his patient - at the cost of his hind leg. It was then he knew he had to settle down - and settled into Exsilium.

Though Stigma had found a temporary home there, he was still a traveler at heart. His yen to see distant places and help dragons all around Sornieth was too strong for him to handle. After successfully raising many children and passing his talents on to some of them, he thus decided to spread his wings and bid farewell to his old clan.
His journey took him all the over the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and at times, he felt his strength escape - but Stigma knew he had no choice but to keep going. Once he reached the coast again, he broke down. Exhausted and starving, the healer lost consciousness.

When he woke up again, the Pearlcatcher was greeted by another of his kind. As it turned out, the stranger was a female called Orianna. She had found him at the beach and carried him back to her camp. Stigma thankfully accepted the water and food she offered him, listenting to her story while he gathered new energy. Orianna was a traveler herself, but not quite by choice - she suffered from a seemingly incurable illness causing her inner organs to slowly dissolve, inevitably causing her to die at some point. Desperately trying to find a cure, the girl now wandered around, having come all the way from the Icewarden's lands without finding a proper treatment.

It was the first time Stigma had heard of this kind of sickness, but he hesitantly told Orianna about his occupation as a healer, having an unusual - and risky - idea. Still, as he saw the spark of hope in her ice blue eyes, he knew that he at least had to try saving her life. First, though, they had to find a safe place to stay at.
Thankfully, it didn't take too long for them to stumble upon some well-kept flower gardens. The owner spotted them from afar, but invited them inside after listenting to their story, allowing Stigma to follow through with his plan.

The healer did his best to gather materials for the creation of artificial organs, blessed with the faint magic of certain elixirs. Once he was done, the day of the difficult surgery came closer and closer. Orianna felt her health decline, though, and Stigma knew there was no time left for him to hesitate.

On a cool summer day, he miraculously managed to give the other Pearlcatcher a second chance at life. She had lost most of her memories, though, and only remembered what had happened recently - causing her to be very dependent on Stigma. Obviously, he still has to check on her each day and decided to stay at this new clan, the Lunar Sanctuary, for Orianna's sake.
