Sylv

A fae beloved by nature, Sylv ruled a clan on the edges of the Southern Icefields, kind to her people and warm to the grassy tundra where chilled wildflowers grew. She delighted in the arrival of spring each year, the dawning light of a new season melting away the frigid snows and giving way to new blooms. She shared this childlike adoration for things around her with her clan, practicing kindness towards them, and her role as queen for her icy clan was welcomed.

But suddenly, one day, unexplained ruin came upon Sylv’s clan. Dragons lost their lives to the unforgiving cold, her home and the hearts of her loved ones frosting over and looking at the queen with distrust and disdain. Finding the queen unfit to rule, they took away her throne and exiled her.

The dragoness didn’t know how to handle her exile. Her joyful, wintery days turned into lonely nights as she was forced to wander Sornieth on her own. Her heart, fragile as ice, clung onto the things she loved most: the flowers and wildlife around her, and the small joys she would come to find in her new life.
