It had been four long years without her. Roseclaw had been allowed to travel far from her home as is custom for those Windborne, though her wanderlust never sat well with her. During those years, she found herself tricked into indentured servitude, told to carry out her sentence without hope of ever returning. Grueling hours were spent working hard labor. No job was considered too big by her contractors, captors, even if Roseclaw found her back nearly breaking.
Three years passed and once she earned her freedom, she fled from the land she'd been forced to work on for so long. The scroll-seller she met on a dusty road only a few miles away turned out to be quite the beneficiary. He cut her a deal on a scroll to change her shape as well as a scroll to change her colors. Their magic coarsed through her being as she read their contents later that day and nothing could compare to the sheer exhilaration she felt as her body and scales changed entirely. She was no longer Roseclaw and instead was born anew. She looked to the sky, called herself Nimbus, traveled the entire world to find the clan, and she was finally home.
