Kayhen’s egg was abandoned before he hatched. As a hatchling, he stumbled across a city and quickly picked up on the culture of the Shadow dragons he met there. He became a conman and swindler. Recently, he started collecting on the debts dragons have amassed throughout the years. Those who are unable to pay it off yet are forced to become part of his clan.None of us like him much.
Kayhen is a skilled trickster. He knows his way around a deck of cards and a set of poker chips. Due to his cheating nature, he’s impressive at slight-of-claw, and likes to demonstrate little “magic tricks” to gullible hatchlings. He’s remarkably good with his words and will often draw others into unwinnable games and binding deals, like the true Shadow dragon he is.
The extravagant apparel he wears tends to slow him down, but the striking, blinding nature of his wings more than makes up for it. He plays into the name of his breed, using his wings to blind and/or confuse enemies and prey long enough to take a shot.
Not that he hunts that often, anyway.

Originally an ambassador to dragons from the Beastclans. However, he found himself enjoying the way Shadow dragons lived life, and couldn't help but take Kayhen up on his offer. Now, Abactius is stuck with Kayhen forever... but, really, it doesn't seem like Abactius minds all that much.
Here's an interesting fact: Kayhen uses Abactius's feathers as a calling card of sorts.
