Biography
Chloroform was the first dragon born into Deer's Death. At the time, he was a Mirror, and he was the pride of his parents. Mirfak was glad to finally have his own son who would obey him - back when he lived in his old clan, Mirfak had a son named Dima, but he disowned him after he refused to share his beliefs.
One day, Deer's Death was spying on Crow Callers, and noticed something unusual about one of the young Tundras in the clan, who was known as Kao. Initially, it was believed that Kao had just undergone a strange growth spurt, but after looking harder, they realized that he was something else entirely. Amazed and interested, Deer's Death set out to find out what this new type of dragon was, and they learned it was an ancient cousin of the Tundra known as the Gaoler. Several DNA samples and threats to a Fae later, they were able to transform their son into a Gaoler in order to rival Crow Callers.
Despite Chloroform's mother being a surgeon, and his adopted grandmother being an expert in medical knowledge, Crow Callers still had significantly better medical care and was better with breed changing and similar things than Deer's Death. When the formula was applied, his transformation began - he began growing fur, and much of his body became thicker, including his feet, which became more paw-like. His wings shrank, and the iridescent patterns he had on them faded, being replaced with odd stripe-like markings that also reached to the rest of his body. The fins on his head became hard, and began forming gnarled, branch-like antlers, as well as ears. His antlers continued to grow, forming more gnarled structures, including his claws. His face broadened, beginning to resemble that of a Guardian, and his extra set of eyes disappeared. While his transformation started rather quickly, it was not a painless process by any means. Immediately after his transformation ended, he felt nauseous, and he collapsed - he was unconscious for several hours, and could barely move the next few days. After his full recovery, he had to figure out how to walk without dragging his head on the ground all the time.
Since he became a Gaoler, Chloroform has found that his mind has become corrupted, making him more readily aggressive. He can still speak, but often with major impairments.
Despite his constant aggression, Chloroform has once in a while met dragons that brought out his gentler side, such as Planter, a cursed Gaoler-turned-Mirror that suffered a very similar fate to him.
