______ From one of the longest standing Pearlcatcher families Baroque practically glows with the air of old money. Wearing a form of dress that marks him as one of the wealthy elite Baroque strives to be the spitting image of a perfect gentleman. He is poised, he is cultured, he is well-read, he is artistically gifted in song and dance, he sculpts, paints, composes and his wit is as sharp as his blade. He loves the gold and glamour of his families stately mansions and aims to bring some of their dignity and refinement to the Last Retreat. His current crowning glory is the Lair's only bank, the First Lucrum Bank, which has been crafted in elegant light flight style. His closest friend among the lair is the clothing designer Sunny as the two share a mutual appreciation of and dedication to the fine arts. Sunny is the one who provides the most luxuriant fabrics and eye-catching gemstones for his work. The sight of the pair walking into a marketplace strikes fear into the hearts of merchants for their eyes are keen, their expectations are high and it is by their judgement that a business succeeds or fails in the Last Retreat. His services are in high demand but he only deigns to accept a commission once in a blue moon, once he has a place to renovate he devotes himself to achieving perfection and will work tireless to achieve a desired effect.
His family funds are enough to provide him with a living wage so he only works for his own betterment, viewing the work as the whetstone that sharpens his skills.

______ As a traditionalist in Light Flight traditions Baroque strives to embody the spirit of a more dignified era, to the approval of both Paikea and Aedalind. He trains both body and mind diligently to attain the peak of his art and is ever looking for ways to improve his self. His swordsmanship is mostly for show but there are rare occasions when he is called on to defend the honor of a compatriot in a duel where he shows his moves are not just for impressing the ladies. Those that only see his outward manner and dismiss him as a vain, arrogant fop best beware, lest he have cause to demonstrate.
