About:

~ one grumpy old dude

~ joined the clan back when Iliyana was the boss

~ and stayed with Bentar when he started the Sanctuary

~ he's mostly just here to tell anecdotes

~ and pretend to be the wise adult supervision

~ he doesn't do much really but everybody loves him

~ helps wherever he can with whatever he can do

~ complains all the way but the others know he don't mean it

~ ex-husband of Lilac, they had three kids then separated

~ but they're still on good terms

~ so much so that they used to run the Coliseum together

~ Lilac has since retired, but Maurice is still in the business

~ he works with the coli gang of the clan led by Laila

~ they train the kids that join the services of the Earthshaker

~ with Maurice being the healer/mage of the crew

~ he is currently a loving husband to Idwal

~ some of their kids decided to stay with the clan

~ and they're very happy for them

~ this is a family business not just for Bentar and Charity

~ but for him and Idwal too
