He wondered, sometimes, what it was like to actually be busy. He was a bishop, just like the rest of them; yet, it seemed they always had more important matters to attend to than anything he could suggest. He was certain it had to do with how he controlled the desert--though plentiful in size, almost all of that land was uninhabitable. A lot of his territory hardly had any life at all. Anyone who lived there either lived in the big cities around the single oasis or on the outskirts (which he hardly considered to belong to him, given how frequently everyone else intervened there).
