Maryse is a lone diplomat in a clan full of unruly and savage wildclaws. Well-mannered, soft-spoken and polite, she makes herself present at any inter-clan negotiation and tends to be the one to pour water on the fire whenever there is dispute between the clan and one of their many customers, neighbors or allied beastclans.

Being quite pedantic about her peaceful ideals, the clan of the Dryads Rest brings her endless work. She wouldn't like it anyway else - she might complain about her constant workload, but she secretly finds it very rewarding. When not taking on negotiations, Maryse work as a secretary for the inn, taking notes of the money going in and out of the business. However, she have an unusual wariness around Plague dragons - she keeps an eye on such guests and makes sure to get their names. As she harbor no visible ill will towards the very same guests she distrust, some clan members have begun spreading rumors. Is she hiding from someone..?
