Biography
TALI'ZORAH
Fandragon for Tali'Zorah nar Rayya from Mass Effect
THE CLAN-MOTHER
Fandragon for Tali'Zorah nar Rayya from Mass Effect
THE CLAN-MOTHER
As much as Tali'Zorah loves her clan, the Arcanist showed her there was a stronger candidate for leadership: a young Guardian female called Hatshepsut. The Fae has since gladly ceded the role of matriarch, though Kristophsis will always call her "my queen" and the other dragons will forever refer to her as "clan-mother." She now serves as the clan's priestess and conduit to the gods, as well as teacher to the young spiral Wisp, training her in her ability of foresight. Tali has seen so many things in her time as clan-mother that she cannot explain; the resurrected Beast-turned-dragon Karou, the reborn Pearlcatcher Len, the golem Jade; but she has faith that the Eleven watch over her and the clan, caring for each of them, even those who have turned their face away from the light of the gods. It's Tali's fervent hope that the Shade-clan within the Brightclaw will turn away from the darkness and once more embrace the Eleven, but she doesn't hate them, couldn't hate them, and it pains her to know that there is a contingency plan that involves striking them down if they become too powerful. She wants them to find redemption, as other members of the Brightclaw have, and return to the people who love them instead of pouring their energy into the Shade. While none of Tali's children have stuck around the clan, she has two apprentices who are like daughters to her: Wisp and Alstromeria, two Arcanist-gifted dragons who needed Tali's guidance to better control their abilities. She hates when they suffer, seeing their psychic abilities hurt them, but seeing how close they've gotten, how they care for each other, warms Tali's heart and assures her that she's doing the right thing for her clan and her girls. |
