“What was it you needed? I'm sure I have just the tome...” Crumbling leather and parchment handled with the most delicate touch, her eyes strain to pick out the faded etchings dust and time and busy fingers have yet to erode completely. Ink splatters across her nose as she makes notes, usual care forgotten in the excitement of discovery, of preservation, tying together the threads of past and present. Her neck aches, her nose hopelessly clogged with dust, the shape of her quill indented into her hand - but these are petty, insignificant things when she considers what she's accomplished. ♡ T'VRAN (an exasperating friend) Despite Sakkhet's earnest appeals for truthful accounts of the clan's past, T'Vran offers only overblown tales of drama and intrigue. ♡ JEBEL (a friend) She taught him to read when he came to the clan, and as he continues to spend much of his time in the library, they've grown close. ★ EZRA (a religious scholar) Ezra is a frequent patron of her archives, both reading and contributing to most of the religious works there. ★ VYORIN (a friend) She helps him do research, which he's extremely grateful for - he doesn't have the patience or passion she does for combing through the dusty old tomes, much preferring talking it out with her over a cup of tea.
