Few know anything of Shran's history, and his snarling replies dissuade them from asking. Most can piece together a few details - he clearly has a military background, adept in combat when he doesn't lose his head in the heat of the moment. The scars lacing his body tell more tales, of battles nearly lost that he somehow survived. The simple fact of his presence in the scorching desert that so disagrees with him makes it clear that leaving the Southern Icefield behind was no real choice, perhaps the last resort in a line of last resorts. Put those pieces together and you get... a rampant parcel of rumors, for the most part.

Only the enigmatic Ambassador Soval seems to have any idea what Shran's past held, and he isn't talking.

⚔ SOVAL (a friend (?)) His initial distrust has turned to more of a confrontational friendship, where Shran enjoys trying to rile up the seemingly unruffleable Soval.

♡ T'BREN (a sparring partner) He finds her a bit too rigid to be truly fun, but her fighting prowess far outweighs personality for him.

♡ KUNZII (a friend) Kunzii seems determined to bring out a softer side of Shran. Shran almost wants to let him.

♥ TASNAH (his boyfriend) Shran has a hard time believing he deserves Tasnah's affections, but he's starting to understand that deserving has nothing to do with it.

✒ BLOWING A KISS Shran's the last person any of the guards would expect to fall prey to distraction tactics, but maybe they've just been using the wrong ones.
