Ume
The Treasure
Twin Sister
quote here
"Ume is his twin sister, and they've been close since childhood. Sure, they were originally separated so in the end they were born different elements, by complete accident (due to Takashi's egg being stolen.), but their time separated was so minuscule and neither of them remember being separated, though they do know that it happened. They are rarely ever seen apart, so if you see one of them, it's likely the other is nearby.
He's very protective of Ume, to the point that he seems overprotective and overbearing at times. He just doesn't want anything to happen to her and it shows quite well. No one has any idea why he's like that with her and only her, especially since she doesn't usually act that way back. It's quite possible that the short time of separation might have something to do with this behavior, since his egg was the one moved. It's only speculation, since it cannot be proven, especially since even Takashi himself would not be able to explain it if it was like that, since they were still in eggs at the time.
It's also quite obvious how two the close are just by seeing them together. They're inseparable, and they rely on each other heavily. Takashi doesn't like being away from her for long, not at all. Though as long as they know where the other is, it's not too hard on them. It's not the distance that is the problem, but rather, it's if they know where the other is or not that matters. If they don't know where the other is, that's when there's a problem.
They are, however, the happiest when they can see each other, spending time with each other. Ume enjoys listening to him sing or hum (or do art), and he enjoys listening to her read to him."
Akira
The Reassuring
Younger Brother
quote here
"Akira is one of Takashi's younger brothers; one of the youngest. He's one of the ones the Silver Skydancer is closest to, mostly due to their similar personalities making them get along well. Seeing that Akira is one of his youngest brothers, Takashi hasn't had the chance to interact with him as much as he has with some of his other siblings."
Hemlock
The ???
???
quote here
"Ume and Takashi met the forest prince on one of their short journeys away from their homeland. Thankfully, he wasn't unfriendly, not minding at all that they were going through his part of the forest without warning. In fact, after a short encounter, he proved that he had interest in Ume, by the fact that he attempted to court her, in hopes to get her interest. Takashi wasn't exactly impressed by that, and thus, he found himself not being very fond of the Imperial, thanks to him being protective of his sister. He didn't know this dragon, not at all, and yet, here he was, courting Ume? Why? The fact he didn't know this dragon, didn't know how powerful he was, and was also, admittedly, a bit intimidated by him as well, so it was indeed a bit natural for him to flare up and interfere with what was going on."
Sora
The ???
???
quote here
"Sora is one of the siblings that Takashi is closest to. She's one of the ones he really enjoys spending time with, since she shares an interest with him; reading. When they were younger, Takashi loved reading to her, both books and tales that he wove himself. He loved the fact that she was into reading and stories even as a youngster, since many of his siblings weren't like that, at least not as deeply as she was. They created a special bond early on that would probably last for the rest of their lives.
Though she's an adult now, they still occasionally meet together to spend time, Takashi either weaving up something new or telling her about something that he had experienced or gone through. She also has gotten to telling him about things, though hers usually are made up as opposed to have actually happened."

Johnson
The Insurgent
Close Friend
"Of course. I'd be honored to help."
"Johnson was the first individual that Takashi got to speak to from the area, since he was the first one Takashi saw who seemed to have authority, and also one of the the ones he got to know first as well. He was the one who specifically asked Takashi to stay after he discovered his 'ability', telling him that this was how he could help. Both the fact that he was actually going to be able to help despite how things looked at first, combined with the light that appeared in the weathered Pearlcatcher's eyes when he found hope in the Skydancer brought a light feeling in his chest as he accepted. He was actually going to make a difference somewhere. All those years of feeling inadequate and unworthy.. were coming to an end. There was something he was meant to do, and it brought him happiness. And it would not just bring happiness to him, he knew. He was going to make the future for the other individuals bright and clear; he was moving them out of the shadows they had lived in for so long and into the light of a brighter future.
The Pearlcatcher was a hardened and grim individual from living in such harsh living conditions for so long. He didn't smile, not that Takashi saw, and there was definitely not much hope on his mind. He didn't blame him. From what he got from just by looking around where he stood, and from what he saw on the trek to locate an individual of importance, things looked very, very bleak."
Luke
The ???
Close Friend
quote here
"In the end, Luke was the reason why Takashi even stayed there. He popped up when the silver Skydancer was speaking to Johnson, watching them both (along with Ashek, who had been talking to Johnson when Takashi showed up) curiously, telling them both in the end that Takashi was 'special'. Somehow he recognized Takashi's magical 'gift' before even he knew about it. It was odd, and it's still unknown how the kid knew about it before anyone else did. If it hadn't been for him, who was Johnson's son, the moon-coloured Pearlcatcher kid, it's likely that the area would not have gotten help when they did.
He had appeared after the initial conversation with Johnson, right after Ume had moved off to go help some of the injured. Takashi had stepped back, trying not to let his disappointment show, when the kid had peeked around the corner, watching the Skydancer with what seemed to be awe showing in his eyes. He moved towards them, looking to his father and saying that Takashi was special. Just that. He didn't seem to know why he was special, just that he was. Special.
It was strange, to all three of the dragons who had witnessed it. After a bit of discussion, Ashek was able to convince Johnson to let the two hang out with each other for a while, let Takashi have a look around the area with a companion who knew the way around, even though he was still young. Even then though, the Pearlcatcher did seem hesitant, and warned Takashi that there would be severe consequences if anything happened to Luke."
Arifah
The Faithful
Mate
"You don't know just how much this means to me."
"At first, Arifah was actually not trusted by Takashi due to her she was affiliated with and related to. She was the biological daughter of the overbearing lord of the area, the daughter of the dragon who was making lives for the dragons he was helping hell. It was only natural for him to be wary of her at first, for him to be distrusting of her. Even his usual trusting nature didn't affect his first thoughts and impression of her. Her relation to the Lord made her an exception to that.
Over time though, he did learn to trust her. It was hard at first, especially since most didn't trust her as well, but he tried to stay positive about it. She was nothing like her father. Unlike Iaeste, who seemed to be quite the overbearing and arrogant individual, Arifah was a sweet, honest individual who looked to genuinely care about others and did not approve of how her father was running things. And she had even snapped at Ormat who had made a nasty comment towards Johnson right before Takashi did a performance in front of everyone. That was one thing that really stood out to him at the time. It seemed that her way of thinking wasn't so condescending as her brother's, and her disapproval of his actions really did strike a chord in him."
Zaith
The Broken Assassin
Ally
quote here
"Their first encounter was, to put it lightly, not so great. Days previous to that encounter, there had been sightings of a dark shadowy figure lurking around the area's borders, a being that no one recognized, who would not stay around for very long before disappearing. No one was able to get close enough to him to get a better look before he would disappear."
