Chrysolite the Protagonist

rash || kind-hearted || silly Most dragons aren’t sure whether to be left in awe or fear when standing in the presence of Chrysolite. Some call him overly dramatic, even kind of moody. He prefers to be referred to as… sprightly. Chrysolite’s aim is to live as the anime protagonist he was born to be, emulating himself through his favorite fictional characters and archetypes. To tell the truth, he just wants senpai to notice him. Perhaps, one day, Chrysolite may even become the senpai. He prepares himself for his fate as the Chosen One by practicing everything that an anime protagonist is supposed to do, according to his… research. This includes purposefully reflecting light off of his glasses, and “accidentally” tripping into dragons who look important to “the plot.” Chrysolite enjoys spending time by theorizing what he calls “ay-you’s,” or Alternate You-niverses. He also likes to draw his “purrsona,” an AU version of himself that everyone seems to love despite his ridiculous antics. Even his father has a hard time trying to make anything of it. His mother, of course, was the one who inspired Chrysolite to perform his daily antics to begin with. One day, he hopes to gather enough strength to conquer the ever-elusive “fourth wall.”

Even with his rather unique goals and thoughts, he's a jolly and helpful coatl that often promises to protect others (but ends up accidentally hurting them himself) He tends to get into a lot of trouble, too. He used to get bumps and scratches on his body, until his father gifted him with armor to prevent this. Chrysolite is still quite reckless, and still manages to hurt himself. Even when he tries to help others, he just makes it worse and rubs off his bad luck to them. He's clumsy and annoying, sure, but he has good intentions and is always up for adventures. |
