____Not much is known or said about Tyler's origins. He has made it clear that his parents are dead to him, having run out on him when he was a dragonet. He had to grow up fast, and strong he said, learning how to survive quick on the firey plains. A clan eventually decided to take him in, and at first he was grateful. That was, until he found out why they were so kind and welcoming to him. As he entered their camp, he saw hatchlings of his age being exalted, and was horrified. The clan was being so kind to him as he trod across the blood of his brethren, his kin, because his life on this plane was soon to end. This would not do. Together, with some of the other hatchlings, he fled. ___The other dragonets were incredibly grateful for his leadership. Without his size and power, they would never have stood a chance of fighting their way out and fleeing. He was charismatic, but also strong and powerful. With his aid and leadership, they learned how to survive as a small band, crossing their way into the plague flight's territory to escape their previous enemies. They were soon joined by Akasha, who soon became his mate, the progeny of a vampire and a cannibal. Her background did not daunt him, nor did he fear her - there was little he ever feared - and she had taken to him. After years and years on the wastes, they found a dragoness who would change their lives - Lexa ____Lexa was all that Tyler wanted to be - strong, strategic, smart, powerful, charismatic, and most of all she was a leader. She welcomed them into her clan, the Melohn, accepting him as one of them. The clan taught him and his allies the ways of Arenji, and the power that they held. Fate, luck, chance, it was all contained in one beautifully powerful entity. There was no question, Tyler was smitten by this deity. |

____It didn't take long to prove his devotion and strength, and Lexa took him to be her right hand war leader. He trained their troops, he taught the dragons how to fight. He and Lexa didn't agree on everything, but both dedicated their time and energy to Arenji. She trusted him, and he trusted her...until Clarke's clan came along... ___Their clan had very finite resources and land. They couldn't handle another dozen dragons joining. It simply was't an option, but Lexa decided to accept her now mate's clan into their own. He and his allies knew that they couldn't support these numbers. Angered, he and his soldiers staged a coup. Most of the fighting force would side with him, he knew it. And, to ensure his victory, he had his mate Akasha turn him into a vampire as well. That way he would be more than strong enough to defeat the small skydancer queen and take her place. ____He let Lexa and Clarke go, banishing them both, and took their place as leader. |
