The dry thickets of the Wandering Contagion are an odd home for a Water dragon, but Anatole is definitely an odd Pearlcatcher. She's always ready for battles, and what's left of her opponents is used to outfit her in an unsettling sort of apparel. In searching for a place to set up a business, Anatole found success in the clan of a mysteriously benign Plagueland healer, Zarim.

After some negotiations with the leaders, she managed to secure herself a small portion of land within their borders to use as she pleased. The area has since become home to a rather pleasant workshop and a stylish storefront. Given the nature of her skills, Craftsman is as close a title Anatole could be given, but the clan certainly enjoys having someone around who can make their trophies functional as well as stylish.

For a price, of course.

Origins

Anatole wouldn't be able to tell you why the bones of fallen foes made for such good crafting material. What she could tell you is that when you bring those bones home and turn them into rather fashionable accessories, your clanmates get a little creeped out. That didn't stop this Pearlcatcher though. No sir, Anatole was nothing if not persistent, and she had a gift for working with bone that just had to be shared. Selling her works...

Well, that was a bit harder.

Her clan in the Fishspine Reef was too squeamish to wear the organic mantles, and the unusual talent wasn't very appreciated in Sea's other clans either, so she tried her luck on the shores. A few meager sales led her from Dragonhome to the Viridian Labyrinth, but she noticed her customers often shared a trait. They were Plague dragons. Perhaps Anatole could find a market for her apparel in the Scarred Wasteland. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?
