Iraneth, Glitch, and Onikaan came to the clan around the same time. He was an acquaintance of theirs, all of them too young to be away from home. They were all unhappy under the rule of the first Matriarch.

Iraneth grew close to one of the clan members, a Spiral named Bloodwing, and they were all but forced to tend a nest together. Despite that, he adored his first three children...who were quickly sent to the Shadowbinder against his will. This slight, along with the banishment of Bloodwing, was one of the many injustices that spurred Onikaan to rise up. Iraneth was behind her.

In the time of Onikaan's rule, he became the lead trader of the clan. He goes back and forth to the Trading Post, hawking the wares given to him by Fickle and returning with treasure. Sometimes he brings other with him, but most of the time he goes alone. Unfortunately, he's a little scatterbrained and will often forget things that needed to be sold when he chooses to go by himself. He's also notorious for filling silence with his voice, even when nothing needs to be said. It's a mystery how he was such close friends with Onikaan and Glitch when they were both quiet and stern.
