Haakon has taken the role of Beastmaster for the clan. He bonds with all unassigned familiars, and has learned much about the different races of the world of Flight Rising.

He has a gift for tongues and has picked up the Coatl language, as well as the tongues of most of the Beastclans. He is one of the only non-Coatls in the lair who can speak Coatlese, so he gets stuck with a lot of translating work. He doesn't really mind, he secretly enjoys how much he does for Svethallr.

He has no urge to find a mate. His closest friend in the clan is the Coatl Eir, who he often has to accompany on journeys to other lairs.
