Fellstalk
Fellstalk and Torstol are close, both of them being ground-bound imps. He realizes he will never understand illness like Torstol does, being that she's a plague dragon, but he does his best to learn what she will teach him. Marrentil has long outgrown his Kindergarten class but she is still coming to him for secondary education. He's very fond of her.

Fellstalk has always been interested in helping people. He has average training in medicine and first aid, and he's the one clanmates go to if they've gotten hurt. He originally wanted to become a doctor but he found himself drawn to the care of hatchlings instead. He's the one who looks after new hatchlings when they enter the clan, either from outside or from its own nests. He handles primary education and tucks in each kid at night when it's bedtime, sort of a Kindergarten/daycare combo. It's not a job so much as he feels it's his life calling, and he does it out of love. Fellstalk loves his kids, regardless of how difficult they are to manage, and he has the patience of a saint. If a hatchling has a skinned knee, he will be putting a bandaid on it in the most reassuring way possible. That's just how he is. He's kind of quite around grown dragons, and is often more of a listener in group conversations than an active participant. You can learn a lot by listening and Fellstalk tries his best to do so. He hatched with only half of his right wing and wears a prosthetic more to blend in than because he feels self-conscious. He can't fly and so he's not very active outside the lair but he is friendly, if not a bit shy. He and Featherfoil grew up together and are more than simply best friends, although not in a romantic sense. He would fight an emperor for her, and she'd be likely to pick a fight with one in the first place. |
