wearing a necklace made of hearts that you'd dragged through the mud.

She is perhaps one of the most terrifying Guardians to encounter in the depths of the sea. Ceratiidae has gone through many charges in her lifetime, often latching onto certain individuals, but under mysterious circumstances they all seemed to have disappeared or passed away. It is unusual for Guardians to have multiple charges like Mother Anglerfish does, so many denizens in the clan suggest she may have failed to keep her original charge safe, and she is constantly making up new charges in order to satiate her loss. However, it's not known for certain what happens to all of her "charges" or why they always meet an untimely death...

Along with Wavecrest, Mother Anglerfish directly assists the Overseer by putting her orders into action. Ceratiidae is the head of the clan's combatants that are known as the Abyssal Warriors. She organizes various parties to carry out clan duties outside of the Sea and throughout Sornieth's other territories.
