Urban was born out of the darkness of the sea, to an extinct clan in an unforgiving mountain range, cut off from the rest of Sornieth and perpetually under threat from storm and sea. A hostile environment that produced a clan of ruthless warriors who did not hesitate to take the lives of others. Sometimes for survival, sometimes just for sport.
Unlike the others, Urban was born with a strength that was truly unfathomable. He possessed an unnatural rage and honed long-forgotten battle instincts that aimed to crush everything in his path, and he always delivered his blows with three times the violence that was necessary. He was considered too bloodthirsty and cruel by the clan, and though they tolerated him, even they feared what he could do. Living in a constant state of overdrive produced a fury to kill that always ended in a slaughter, but in his mind, this fighting and maiming was the only choice he ever had.
Once seething with self-hatred, he realized one day that perhaps this cruel, savage strength was his fate. Struck with his own becoming, Urban learned to embrace his own brutality and gave his life a newfound purpose, becoming the hunter he was always meant to be. He began his story by carving it in the blood of his clan.

Despite being on the small size for a Ridgeback, he is the most lethal dragon that Clan Abyss has ever encountered. Notoriously known for his terrifying strength and lack of self-control, he travels all over Sornieth searching for a worthy opponent to fight, feeling it is his purpose in life to purge this world of the weak.
It was on one of his many crusades when Urban first encountered Peyton in the murky lowlands of Clan Umbra. He was instantly drawn to the Imperial like a moth to a flame, as she is an equally terrifying dragon of potent Shadow magic. Urban cannot identify this fatal attraction he feels towards Peyton, and as much as he loathes himself for it, he is reluctant to leave her side. This relationship that grew between Urban and Peyton eventually lead to the alliance of clans, as well as the start to a terrifying family of death-dealing dragons.
Urban often returns to Clan Abyss so that he can compete with rivaling clans in the Coliseum, always on his ceaseless quest for slaughter. He eagerly pits himself against dragons that are far larger than himself but has yet to find an opponent that can match his skill and vigor in combat. Urban's battle prowess is thoroughly unmatched, and his grandiose displays of calculated violence in the Coliseum make him both feared and revered among the clan. Working like a slaughterhouse, he annihilates anything that stands in his way.

Insulting / Crooked / Hostile / Berserk
An ominous, foreboding presence can be felt whenever Urban is around. That's because those who know him know what he's capable of, and they react accordingly. A chance meeting with this particular dragon is downright fatal, and nobody wants to be the one responsible for setting him off. Urban can easily be overcome by his desire to slaughter and will rampage furiously, eliminating almost everything in his path when he does so. But that isn't to say he can't be kept in check. He has a very Plague-like way of thinking and respects those he's deemed strong - survival of the fittest and all that. This mentality is what originally led him to Clan Abyss, a clan that endures the hostile twilight of the Sea and produces some of the fiercest fighters that he's grudgingly learned to respect. He has no moral compass except for his overwhelming devotion to Peyton, to whom he is utterly loyal. |
