The summer is going to end
On a rainy day like this
I'll find my way to the sea
I'll run before it ends

I'll find my way to the sea
I'll run before it ends

She sees him run away
They make this rainy day come
She is the winter weather
Do you fear the waves?

A gentle giant as calm and still as the deep waters of the Spiral Keep. Her hide and wings are adorned with flawless, faceted crystals, which refract a rainbow of colors in even the slimmest rays of light. This is a rare happenstance, however, as light hardly ever reaches the seafloor.
Thalassa suffers from the most severe strain of the gembond virus. Because her entire body is crystallized, her movement is extremely limited, as crystalhide is not as flexible as scalehide. She slowly glides through the water, which spends a lot of energy due to the sheer weight of her body. This is about as far as her flexibility extends.
It's not all bad, however. Her crystalhide extends as an armor and offers superior protection against brute force. Magical attacks are refracted and reflected much like rays of light. Every now and then her crystals may shed and fall off. They are beautiful pieces that are often worth a bit of value in trade.
Thalassa is dormant in the summer months and undergoes a deep slumber for the season. She buries herself beneath the soft sand of the Keep, where she sleeps undisturbed.
Thalassa always awakes during the autumn equinox, usually noted sometime after the Drakeharvest.
She has an aversion to sunlight.
