Nile is the eldest son of Atlantic and Pacific. Nevertheless, he has nothing in common with the kindly matriarch and her consort, other than the flow of Water magic that runs deep within his veins. Despite his obvious skill in elemental magic, Nile refused to become another oracle, likely never to travel outside of the Thousand Currents. When he was of age he enlisted himself into the claws of Mother Anglerfish and trained in combat directly under her care. He is the first combative magic user of his kind in the ranks of the Deepwater Warriors and earned a rank completely unique to him alone.

Nile believes in manners above all else, treating every dragon as his equal and with kindness to a default. He is respectable and quite chivalrous, captivating the hearts of many with his suave demeanor.

Although he is excellent company to keep and even spends much of his free time lending his claws to others, there is also something mournful about him. Nile is often caught gazing out into the abyssal frontier deep in thought. He is always thinking about his death, which was unveiled to him by his beloved Anaïs. Knowing that his days are numbered, Nile does as much good as he can to leave his legacy behind.
