Ash was born to two loving parents who taught her from a young age the importance of strength and survival. Her father taught her how to defend herself with her claws and teeth, but her mother showed her the intricacies of persuasion, intimidation, and stealth. She spent the first few years of her life travelling by herself as a mercenary and trader after departing from them, taking on odd jobs and earning herself a reputation among the locals for her honeyed words and sharp claws. After a particularly successful day, Ash found her silver tongue had gained her a familiar- an entourage of the plaguebringer herself. They became inseparable and Ash became a full-time mercenary alongside her small but fierce new friend. On one outing she encountered a beautiful mirror dragon named Jade, and they quickly bonded over their shared distrust of the outside world. Jade convinced Ash to come with her to her clan after she told her all about her life within it, and it wasn't long before Ash made the choice to stay and give up her bloody line of work.
She met Fennec only a few weeks after first visiting the clan. He was everything she hated in a dragon- rude, brash, and cocky- and she was icy towards him from the start. He was starstruck and made an effort to change how he treated others in order to win her over, and after several months Ash was distraught to realize she had developed quite a fondness for him despite their very opposing personalities. She still makes an effort to act disinterested when he shows his love for her, but she can't help but smile when his back is turned. They're a mated pair, and nobody quite understands what he sees in the cold and sharp-tongued dragoness, but she has a kind side that she shows only to him when there's nobody else around.

Ash hoards bones, trinkets, trophies from her fallen foes, and of course treasure. She keeps it in a pile beside her and Fennec's nest. She also loves to spend time with Fennec, not that she'd ever admit it.
She dislikes anyone who acts haughty and self important, and the smell of copper. She also doesn't like it when anyone points out a flaw that she's working on fixing.
Exchanging resources with any merchants that pass by the clan, taking on odd jobs for anyone who's willing to pay her for them, and flying at sunset with Onyx and being her eyes when she needs it.
