When asking for an origin story, you'll get none from Rugadha. 'A traveller,' she'd say, with traces of what seemed like all the dialects of Sornieth.
'A simple trader.'
But this fools no one. Clad horns to talons in silk and gold, she is not one to blend in. She takes pride in appearance, and is often seen in the Marketplace browsing spells and scrolls for changing one's scales and feathers. Soon, she says, she will be satisfied.

Rugadha was 'found' traversing the lands between Shadow and Light. She had been stopped in the Hewn City for quite some time, learning various techniques from the locals. She was not phased by much, and the abundance of Shadetouched individuals became regular in her mind.
On a trade excursion, the Sindarfiach and their Anax, Midas, came across the highest quality armor they'd seen in many, many moons. Intrigued, the gilded Wildclaw asked Rugadha for her price. She replied, 'Take me wherever you're taking it.'
She never did have any shame when it came to being forward, and in this case, it probably saved her life. Clan Sindarach was a welcome dose of structure and stability, community and responsibility. She took up her craft in a hollowed-out soapstone deposit, and immediately was a widely known attraction within the area.

But, nobody asked, where did she find all that gold? Surely it was not naturally excavated. Surely it was not native gold.
