Biography

Litheria
rise from ash
Red Mantle
Black Witch
Owlcat Journal
Jar of Vapors

When Litheria was found by Mithros in the Scorched Forest, she was only a small, wild-eyed hatchling hiding in an ashy pile of leaves. Once he managed to coax her out, he wrapped her in his mantle and carried her home. She took to the gardens immediately, sparse and bramble-choked as they were, and under her enthusiastic care they're growing again, though they remain as wild as she. She's done some truly ingenious things with the wealth of vertical space available.

She remembers very little of where she came from; only that Mother told her to stay very still and quiet until she returned, but Mother never did. Mithros tells her that she doesn't remember because she never sits still long enough for it, but she doesn't particularly care for either sitting still or remembering, anyway. Even so, she cherished the journal Mithros gave her for the purpose, though she mainly filled it with research notes and ideas for new gardening tools. And she cannot be parted from the old mantle once used to carry her, though she's now far too large to be wrapped in it. It's a much better size for carrying kittens in; ever since she was first given a tiny owlcat she's become a bit obsessed with anything remotely feline.

Nowadays Litheria spends more time covered in dirt and leaves than tormenting her former guardian, though she still makes time for that. She was thrilled to discover that some people pay money for the creepy crawlies she used to drag home and drop in Mithros' lap (or on his head, or in his clothes), and now she makes a good living at it. She's especially good at catching black witches, bringing in hundreds of them to show off and eventually sell. Her room is littered with rare reagents and common weeds alike, along with haphazardly strewn tools and half-finished metal contraptions.
