Kiril is a pretentious and flouncy sort of dragon who fashions himself as suave and gentile. He was trained in the mage academy to assist the clan in battles, but he had difficulty pulling himself away from his mirror to actually pay attention in class. Yet even with his narcissistic distraction, he somehow graduated with high honors.

He has been on a few missions, but his team mates groaned when he was assigned to their sqaud because Kiril wasn't much help. In the middle of a battle, he would start to preen himself and leave his team mates stranded.

After a few fiascos like that, Kiril was relegated to teaching other mages. In this he excels as he can show off his skills and knowledge and feed his ego in the process. Plus, he's actually a very good instructor and his students are drawn to his charismatic personality.
