Vitani might be the leader of warriors, but she has a secret.

Every second month she leaves the clan for a weekend of intensive 'training', muttering something about solitude and survival training. In reality, however, she is visiting a spa in the Tsunami Flats, famous for its hot springs and saunas. There she receives a variety of treatments: she gets her claws trimmed and sharpened, her muscles massaged, her scar tissue treated and her horns touched up.

For someone so tough and no-nonsense it seems absurd, but if anyone asks she is honest enough, saying that it is "necessary in order to maintain optimal fitness." Nobody is quite sure where she first picked up the practice, but most agree that the behavior is a remnant of her ex-mate, Cherokee.
