Hi Mom and dad!
While cleaning out my lair to make room for my mate and I's first nest of hatchlings, I found a crumpled up letter that I wrote to you when I was still small, shortly after moving here. It somehow never got sent. I have included it in this one for your enjoyment; it's also rather smeared, I hope you can still read it.

It made me laugh when I first read it, and then it made me worry about the trials my own children will put me through! They will hatch in just two days time; I am very nervous and very excited at the same time!
I think that is all for now, I hope you are doing well, send my greetings to the rest of the clan!

Hey Zauber,

You're all grown up! It was just yesterday you were a small little guardian lad and now you've got a lovely mate and a few children on the way. It warms my heart to see you doing well. I asked your mother to scry up an image of your lady friend, I wouldn't be a good father if I didn't do a little snooping! She's beautiful, and you grew up to be almost as handsome as me! Ha, just kiddin' boy-o.

I read your letter, it seems you had a lot of adventures with this Baren fellow. I hope you didn't get in too much trouble, but a little adventure does a dragon good. It gives you plenty of stories to tell your children once they come around ;). Stay excited, while it's a bit intimidating, they will be a joy to raise, just as you and your siblings were. If anything, they'll bring out the inner child in you. I know you'll be fine parents, because I was and you're my son! (Magicka says I'm big-headed, but I know she agrees).

Oh as were sharing old things, have this photo of you as a kid. Your stubble is adorable and I can only imagine what dumb dad joke I was telling to give you a face like that.

Hey Dad,
Thanks for the letter and the photo! It was really great hearing from you. I thought you might like a picture of your grandchildren:

Strawberry and Avocado. As you can see from this picture, Avi turned out more like me in personality, even if she favors her mother in looks. She sure is tiny, but she makes up for her size in spunk. They both keep us on our toes, but you are right; we have never been happier (or more exhausted). But it's the best kind of tired there is.
They also wanted to share their love with some artwork:

Strawberry spent a long time on hers, and ask me a million questions about "grandma and grandpa." Avi, on the other hand, made explosive noises while coloring fast and furiously, then yelled, "Done! Tell them love you!" and ran off to play with her Gale Wolf. An Arcane dragon, through and through.
