Alrenil is stinky AND gay
He is a healer, he says, although nearly all dragons left in his care perish. He is able to mend your wounds, but it will come with a nasty catch. Dragons tend to adoid coming to him with ailments out of fear he will turn them into monsters. Even the most seasoned plague dragons tend to steer clear of Alrenil, as he tends to have an air of death around him.
Those dragons he does kill are resurrected, but are left changed, disfigured beyond recognition. If you thought the twisted corpses of Emperors were bad, the monsters Alrenil makes for fun are much more hideous. Though thankfully usually also less destructive.
Why would he do these things? To spite the gods of course.
