Hyosper

Hyosper Five of Wands Hyosper is a dragon with an itch. Along with his twin sister and his Serthis brother he left the jagged crystals of the Reaches to look for.. something. Mystery? Despair? Drama? Romance? Anything to satisfy that itch. If there's something specific that'll quell that itch, he hasn't found it yet, but Driftwood Shore has provided a perfect environment to scratch it. Hyosper and his itch successfully get under the skin of every dragon at the Shore. Just as intrusive and annoying as some of the less popular dragons, Hyosper's fast charisma however leaves many a dragon not knowing if they are infuriated by him or entertained, and he often flummoxes dragons who are used to being socially on top of any situation- such as Musca and Tisrin- with his weird wit and forceful personality. Hyosper is rude by default, but in the manner of brutally opinionated honesty, and not the spiteful verbal barbs of his siblings.

History: Hyosper spent his time before Driftwood Shore living wild in the giant Arcane crystals with his twin and his serthis brother Soriss. Coming to the Shore was largely his decision, and they've stayed ever since, bearing its ups and downs with fierce indomitability.

Physical: Hyosper is a small and gangly Skydancer with an intense magenta glare and extremely long wings. He is fast and twisty with his movements, cat-like and difficult to predict where he will go next. Though he has as much potential energy in the Arcane as his sister it is latent, channeled into physical energy rather than magical. He is no friend to water and will do little more than run through waves, shaking his fur vigorously and often. His flying skills are better, though with his long wings he requires a hectic galloping takeoff. Once airborne he can glide for miles, scarcely moving his wings. Driftwood Shore is not the best place to exercise it, but Hyosper is an eager and wily climber, both of rock and tree.

Familiar: Hyosper has gone through several trial familiars, none of which have had the patience nor the tolerance for Hyosper's constant energy and constant need to poke and prod and criticise, and all of which have left him.

Siblings: Hyosper is closest with his siblings Gillis and Soriss and has few other friends or even people who tolerate him. He bickers with and teases both of them, engaging in long and inventive insult trade-offs with his brother and goading his sister until she loses her temper most delightfully.

Early Bird: Hyosper nested once with the now departed Snapper, and afterwards seemed to take special delight in pestering her for her affections. It's doubtful that his attentions were sincere- as he seems more delighted the more disgustedly she turned them down- though he has repeatedly confessed to having an attraction to Snappers in general.

Offspring: His nest with Bird was the only time Hyosper has produced offspring, so far, and all of them reside with the Tidelord. He has flatly no interest in having any more and indeed dislikes interacting with hatchlings in general.
