Hesperus was abandoned by his parents as a hatchling, left for dead at the entrance to this clan's lair, where Indica immediately felt drawn to the baby with his soulful and mysterious dark eyes, and vowed he would be eternally loved and never want for anything again in his life. Having found such a warm home, he matured quickly and now, as an adult, he does not hesitate to pull his weight in the clan, helping to hunt for seafood, sell goods on the market, and keep the young hatchlings in tow. Indica continues to worry that he is still inwardly haunted by the trauma of having been abandoned as a baby; sometimes she catches a glimpse of something dark and troubled in his expression. But if that is the case, he knows to hide it very well from the others, and doesn't let on that anything bothers him. If anything, he comes across as stoic and unfeeling, and on the few occasions when he does speak, his remarks are often sarcastic. His favorite pastime is playing chess.
