THE ELEVENTH DOCTOR

Before this Doctor showed up, writing off the Tenth as a madman was relatively easy. But this strange dragon with the eyes of another deity who tells the same strange tales has caused even the most steadfast skeptics of Ralakay Glen to scratch their heads in wonder.

Like the Tenth, the Eleventh Doctor has the same odd mutations that allow him to produce a healing golden energy field and give him a second heart on the other side of his chest. The general consensus is that the two are either brothers or clanmates from long ago (wherever their home of "Gallifrey" is), as the Eleventh claims to be vastly older. He certainly doesn't act like it.

The Eleventh Doctor is just as intelligent but can barely focus on one thing for very long. He jumps around from idea to idea as much as he jumps around physically. The hatchlings love him, but everyone else finds him very tiring. Especially since he feels the need to inflate his already large ego at every opportunity.

Even the Tenth finds him trying, but he trusts him completely. There is an understanding between the two that not even Pandorica or Idris enjoy with the strange, allegedy alien dragons. Only the Tenth understands that the Eleventh Doctor hides his pain and darkness deep under a layer of childlike immaturity. His way of dealing with the destruction of his home is acting in a way that forces him to be unable to handle such complex emotions. Every now and then, in a moment of crisis, the Doctor releases his demons, showing the true hatred that drives him -- hatred of those who try to harm others, but moreover, hatred of himself.

The Tenth may trust him, but his mate, River Song, is one of a few who can truly love the Eleventh in spite of everything. She is something more of a mother at times, but the two work well together and no one in Ralakay can say they aren't perfect for each other. But there are things not even River knows, such as the reason behind the sadness in both Doctors' eyes when she isn't looking.

The Eleventh Doctor doesn't stay around Ralakay as much as the Tenth does, often stating that "one Doctor per clan is plenty," (although that might have something to do with the fact that he has the attention span of a newborn Spiral) and tends to get involved more with physical disputes than diplomatic ones. He despises it but he is a fair fighter, as uncoordinated as he is, but his impulsive anger seems to drive him to the brink more often then not. There is a point where the Doctor is unable to hold himself back. The frequency of which he arrives at this point is one of many reasons he cannot look at his reflection without the feeling of pure loathing.

Perhaps this, and not some otherworldly bond is what has drawn the two Doctors together. The Tenth has the same pain in the core of his hearts; the same demons eat away at his mind in the darkness. Sometimes the two are seen together on the edge of Ralakay territory, simply staring in to the swirling galaxies above in silence. As if everything they are is completely naked to the other. As if they're the same dragon.

Because of his immaturity, the Eleventh Doctor has no official role in Ralakay. Hawktalon doesn't trust him not to make a mess of things if left to his own devices, and he has an awful habit of stepping on others' toes when trying to help. He means well, and his incredible intelligence and quick thinking does come in handy, but he is usually more of a burden than anything. He serves as an unofficial advisor to the clan leaders, and he has proven himself quite capable of ambassadorial roles with neighboring Beastclans. However constantly leaping around claiming "Bowties are cool" while waving a glowing screwdriver hasn't earned him much respect as far as authority goes.
