Chimera Pelt 		If you were to ask Bat what he does for a living, he would have a hard time answering. It's not that his job is hard to describe: in short, he wanders the Icefields searching for unconscious dragons dying of overexposure, and steals 20% of their treasure after pulling them out of the ice. It's that that description makes him sound like some kind of two-bit thief, and he doesn't consider himself a thief of any kind. After all, these people deserve to be charged an idiot tax, and it's hardly his fault if the law doesn't agree. In fact, he would go as far as to say he's a morally upstanding citizen for saving all those lives, though only in company that wouldn't immediately punch him in the face.

When he's in the Floes, he often uses the station as a safe place to drop his "clients" off, offering in return an assortment of food and trinkets whose origins the scientists carefully avoid asking too much about. Despite everything, they appreciate his company; he's a different flavour of strange from the one they live in every day, and that's a breath of fresh air.
  • He's listed as a part-time paramedic in the station's crew manifest.
  • His usual familiars are a black wolf and a winter wolf, who help him sniff out dragons too cold for a Mirror's vision to spot; their names seem to change every time someone asks.
