Shantak

The monarch of the spirit realm fought and defeated an eldritch being who came from beyond the stars, rending it in two and sealing the two halves into the forms of dragons. The eldritch beings seem to remember nothing of where they came from and appear content to live as dragons in the Starfall Isles, but they are closely watched by many in the clan, sure that it is a ruse.

When the two beings hatched a nest of four, the clan dismayed - what was to be done with the hatchlings? Two eldritch abominations were already two too many for the clan to handle should their seal break, but should they risk them being loosed on the rest of the world? The eldritch hatchlings made the dragons of the clan uneasy, for they reminded them of tales of the Shade. After much deliberation, they agreed to let the hatchlings migrate where they pleased, though there are some who whisper that they should never have been born at all...

The hatchling is very sensitive to spiritual energies and can always tell when something is out of balance or abnormal. She's noticed that she, her siblings, and her parents all have an unusual aura, but she doesn't know quite what to make of it.
