Snowfall is a bit of a miracle child - born to two parents who are black as night and white as day, and looking rather like neither, nor like any of her siblings - and has always acted like the "special snowflake" she is. In truth, her upbringing was rather difficult, for her snowy coat made her stand out in the jungly domain of Clan Wiltedflower, and there were some coatls who shunned her due to the breed's superstitions decrying subdued colors.

Eventually she left and joined up with the Clan of the Radiant Star, who back then was doing experiments at the Observatory - and it is there she picked up traces of arcane magic, which sometimes flare up underneath her skin, though she can't control them further. It was also there that she met her now-partner Boreas, a dragon much like her and similarly out of place in his former wind clan.

They became quite close and Snowfall gained the confidence she had lacked growing up. Today she is quite stately, and often works on doing research about the flora and fauna of the Southern Icefield, where Boreas spends most of his time.
