Biography

winddividerv_zpsrplmbxtq.png Once upon a time there was a fierce hurricane. Such a thing is not altogether unusual at the Windswept Plateau. However this particular hurricane was ripe with the magic of the Windsinger. With raw energy sailing through the atmosphere, events similar to those of the first and third ages may take place; we may come to witness the birth of a god.

The hurricane contained the forces of Wind alone, so no new deity was born. What emerged instead was something altogether new. As the winds slammed energy and power together, a beautiful dragon was created. Equal in guise to a Coatl, this dragon was far more powerful than the mortal dragonkind that walk Sornieth. Here was the birth of a Spirit, lesser than gods and greater than dragons.

The Wind Spirit was like in nature to the Windsinger, having a very literal link between minds. The Wind Spirit is truly the only one who knows where the travelling god is at all times, being able to see through his eyes. The Spirit spent an age floating on the currents of air, tasting wind and witnessing time. He noticed one evening, whether with his eyes or Windsinger's, a great grassy hill, spotted with lanterns, the sound of socialization carried on the breeze. He decided he should try staying in one place for a time, and soared down to investigate.

Here is where the Spirit earned a name, his first in a century. At the hill they named him Leonas, a name he was pleased to accept. He discovered many things about himself with this Clan. He would race and play in the skies with the young ones just learning to fly, causing a big bumbling game in the sky. He would also take joy in spawning strong winds under dragons and trinkets, blowing them high in the air and gently bringing them back down.

Over time, he came to miss following the currents of the winds. He spoke with the leader, Queenie, and they came to an agreement. Leonas would stay with the Clan, and he would act as their messenger. This way, he could fly over Sornieth and see the world, and they could keep the company of whom they began to see as a friend, as well as a possible blessing from their deity. Truly, the Clan on the hill would be forever blessed by the holy skies.
