Andarius hung around in his father's restaurant long after his siblings left for new homes, showing much more interest in exploring the forest surrounding his home than what lay beyond it.

He had no interest in cooking like his father, and in fact preferred simple, raw food to the dishes he prepared.

However, he was fascinated by Pwyll's previous work as a hunter, and began to beg the coatl to take him out into the forest and teach him.
This was at odds with Pwyll's schedule as a restaurateur - he simply couldn't leave the building for long enough to show the boy anything useful.

And so, instead, he taught Anda how to set and place traps. The two would head out early in the morning, before the sun had risen, and Pwyll would tell his son all he could before he was forced to head back.

Anda took his father's teachings to heart, and soon found his passion out in the woods. The cold, damp mornings, the feel of the earth beneath his feet, and the peaceful, haunting silence of the early morning.

He'd learned how vital it was to respect the forest from his youngest days, and it showed in his work; none of this traps caused harm, and he would never take more than was needed.
