ooooNot much was known about Dintris for a long time. He mostly kept to himself, not wanting to seem too vulnerable to anyone else. He only felt close enough to Cencha. At the beginning, she was the only one who was aware of his background. Dintris was very secretive with the rest of the clan, but Cencha held onto the hope that he would one day open up to the others. Her wish came true; as the clan grew and Dintris became comfortable with the other dragons, he felt the need to share what had happened so long ago.

____Dintris had been through a lot before meeting Cencha. His Search did not go well, leading him on a fruitless journey across the lands that ended up bringing him to the Carrion Canyon, where the exhaustion, lack of nutrition, and dehydration nearly killed him. He ruefully wondered why he was incapable of finding a Charge, lying at the bottom of a deep crack in the barren land for days, too listless to do anything but stay there and let his insecurities consume him. He was at Death's doorstep when a chance encounter with the small Tundra launched his mind back into survival mode. She tended to his wounds and gave him a bit of a long pep talk chalked full of tough love. The two instantly clicked, and they journeyed back to the Starfall Isles together, talking the entire way back. They discussed what they had been through and determined what they needed to do to improve. The clan was founded shortly after as a fresh start for the both of them.

____As time went by and more and more dragons were brought to stay in the clan, Dintris learned to let go of the past and live for the present. He has since spoken at length to not only Cencha, but many others about the past, and has realized that getting everything out into the open has helped him immensely. While technically ruling at the same level as Cencha, he considers himself second in command and keeps his trust in her steady.

____His own method of leadership works with Cencha’s by playing against it. While the Tundra is more vocal and upfront, Dintris is the kind of dragon who can communicate disappointment or pride with just a look and a shake of his head in the right direction. He tends to be more reserved, preferring to listen on while Cencha commands with her voice. He is just as loved as she is, and many of the clan members find strength in him during times of turmoil. He is happy where he is now, and that's all that matters to the Guardian. He feels like he has finally found a home that he belongs in.

____Dintris has a steady relationship with all of his children, and trained Genida in defense when their clan was still very small. Six of his kids have left the clan, but four still live within its borders. Contrary to what one may think, It was his idea to adopt Nisco when Syncraci was just starting out.

____With wings as wide as he is long, Dintris is a powerhouse of strength. He was at first the only brawn of the clan leaders: Cencha healed and defended, while the Guardian lashed out at foes with his claws and stayed at the forefront. As their clan grew, the need for reliable defense grew and Cencha learned to dual wield her fighting strategies. The two now both deal with claws and teeth. Dintris and Cencha used to fight only as a duo, back when their clan was small and only contained their first children. Nowadays, they consistently form a trio with the valiant Etstra and occasionally take along a younger dragon for safely regulated training.

____His personal hoard is full of antlers from various creatures, bone fragments, and leather. He has a bit of Imperial in his blood and was pleasantly surprised when Nestilrem was born with a pair of ivory antlers perched atop his head.
