Expert in destroying and defending against violent, corrupted machinery

*Dawnbreak was traveling across Sornieth, searching for abandoned old machinery to scavenge, when he came across Duskshadow the Tundra near the border of the Scarred Wasteland. She was exhausted and emotionally distraught to the point of hardly being able to eat or defend herself, and he didn't have the heart to just leave her like that.

*She was desperate to get away from the stench of Plague- kind of weird, since she was a Plague dragon herself- so he helped her reach the clean waters of the Gladeveins.

*While they were there they heard rumors about this bizarre pair of dragons, a Guardian and a Mirror, who kept throwing themselves at some horribly dangerous thing inside the Labyrinth and getting spat back out. Some people felt bad for them; others simply shook their heads and took guesses as to how long until the stubborn youngsters got themselves killed. Dawn and his new companion, however, wondered what could possibly be worth putting yourself into so much danger for.

*When they eventually met those two dragons, Duskpatrol and Bloodshard, they found the answer to their question- there was something infused with deep Nature magic inside the Labyrinth, but it was hedged all around by all kinds of danger. One of those threats was mindlessly violent machinery, Lightning fueled devices gone wild after being contaminated with darkness. Dawnbreak's curiosity couldn't possibly have been stronger; he HAD to see these things, had to see if he could help take them apart. Surely such dangerous things shouldn't be allowed to roam all around and attack people.

(Note: Everyone is in dire need of new names. Bear with me here.)

*In helping fight through all the enemies and dangers surrounding the orchard, reclaiming it with the help of his companion (and eventual mate) Duskshadow, as well as five others, he became one of the seven founding members of the Wild Orchard clan.

*To be honest he was kind of baffled when the dust settled. He had gotten involved mostly out of curiosity and the desire to lend a hand to these other dragons who needed the kind of help he could provide. He hadn't planned ahead to what he would do once the threat was fought off well enough for the territory to be reclaimed- probably accept everyone's gratitude and wander off on his way again. But... he grew attached. To Duskshadow, to these other dragons he had fought alongside, to the puzzle of what weird problem might spring up next.

*He isn't very social- much better with machinery than people- so despite being one of the founders, he's rarely seen at gatherings. Mostly he keeps to himself, his mate, and their children while they soak up their mother's religious education.
